1. Seja $f: U \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^m$ diferenciável e $[p,q] \subset U \subset \mathbb{R}^n$ um segmento. Queremos verificar se o teorema de valor médio unidimensional vale em dimensão mais alta: Existe $\theta \in [p, q]$ tal que $$ f(q)-f(p) = Df_{\theta} (q-p). (*)$$
  * Seja $n=1, m=2$ e considere $f(t)=(cos(t), sen(t)), t \in [\pi, 2\pi].$ Seja $p=\pi, q =2\pi.$ Mostre que não existe $\theta$ satisfazendo (*)
  * Assumimos que o conjunto de todas as derivadas $$\{Df_x \in \mathcal{L}(\mathbb{R}^n,\mathbb{R}^m): x \in [p, q]\}$$ é um conjunto convexo. Então prove que existe $\theta \in [p, q]$ satisfazendo (*).

2. Considere $$
S = \begin{pmatrix}
1 & s \\
0 & 1
\end{pmatrix}
$$
e a transformação linear correspondente de $\mathbb{R}^2$ em $\mathbb{R}^2$. Ache a norma de $S$. Ache a conorma também. Lembrando que a co-norma de uma transformação é 
$$
 m(S) := inf_{|v| \neq 0} \frac{|S(v)|}{|v|}.
$$
Com a norma $|.|$ referimos norma euclideana.

3. Mostre que a função $f: \mathbb{R}^2 \rightarrow \mathbb{R}$ definida com seguinte regra: $f(x, y) = \frac{x^3 y}{x^4 + y^2}, (x, y) \neq (0, 0)$ e $f(0, 0)=0$ não é diferenciável em $(0, 0)$ entretanto $\nabla_{(0, 0)} f(u) = 0$ para todo vetor $u \in \mathbb{R}^2.$
