Vamos provar regra de Leibniz.
Definimos transformações bilineares: $\beta: V \times W \rightarrow Z$ é uma transformação bilinear ($V, W, Z$ espaços vetoriais) se 
  * Fixado $v \in V$ a transformação $\beta (v, .) : W \rightarrow Z$ é linear,
  * Fixado $w \in W$ a transformação $\beta (., w) : V \rightarrow Z$ é linear.

Definimos a norma também de forma similar: $$ \|\beta\| := \sup \{ \frac{|T(v, w)|}{|v|.|w|}, v ,w \neq 0\}.$$

Podemos associar a $\beta$ uma transformação linear $T_{\beta} : V \rightarrow \mathcal{L}(W, Z)$ onde $\mathcal{L}(W, Z)$ é o espaço de todas as transformações lineares de $W$ em $Z$.

Teorema: Seja $\beta: \mathbb{R}^k \times \mathbb{R}^l \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^m$ uma transformação bilinear e $f: U \subset \mathbb{R}^n \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^k$ e $g: U \subset \mathbb{R}^n \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^l$ funções diferenciáveis em $p \in U$. então $x \rightarrow \beta(f(x), g(x))$ é diferenciável em $p$ e 
$$
 D\beta (f, g)_p (v) = \beta (Df_p(v), g(p)) + \beta(f(p), Dg_p(v)).
$$

Como corolário imediato: Se $f, g : U \subset \mathbb{R}^n \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^k$ diferenciáveis então 
$$
 D(f . g) = Df. g + f . Dg
$$
onde $.$ representa produto interno em $\mathbb{R}^k$.
