who i am

BSc in Computer Science (2001) at Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo (IME-USP), MSc in Computer Science (2004) at IME-USP and PhD in Computer Science (2008) at IME-USP. I had a post-doc position (2008/2009) at the Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Scientific Computing at the State University of Campinas (IMECC-Unicamp) and got my "livre docência" title (2022) at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Computation of the University of São Paulo (ICMC-USP), where I am a professor since 2009. research interests

Optimization, nonlinear and integer programming, cutting and packing problems, nesting problems.
